We're getting ready for Maker Faire Trieste 2022 in Piazza Unità on September 3-4, 2022.

More than 5 million left for neighboring countries, and 7 million people are thought to be displaced inside Ukraine. Over 140,000 Ukrainians found safety in Italy. (UN July 4, 2022)
American Corner Trieste opened its Maker Space to Ukrainian Makers for crafting and fellowship.
About our Activities for Ukrainian Displaced People in Trieste with the support of the US Department of State:
- English Classes - some Ukrainian women and children are in our English classes.
- Support activities - The talented Ukrainian Crafters produced items for Barbacan Produce on June 19th. .
- Collection - Cell phones, laptops, tablets (used but in working order) are needed.
