Green Pass Rafforzato and ðŸ˜·Face Mask required.

Second Meeting: Saturday, February 19th at 12.

It is Free and Open to the Public. Based on availability.  All ages!  Invite friends.  Havel them register on our link to receive email updates and to be included in the WhatsApp group..

To start, we will meet every other Saturday and see how it goes.

Meeting 1
  • Put on a smile!
  • Bring your Ukulele (We have 2 Ukes that you can be borrowed during the meeting).
  • Study the tututorial, Practice and be Ready to Play  "Three Little Birds" (Don't Worry) by Bob Marley.

"Three Little Birds"  will be our theme song.  Even absolute beginners (like Karoline and Denise)  can learn this song using the tutorial in less than 1 hour.  If you already know how to play, or play the guitar, you'll learn it in 15 minutes.

If you're feeling ambitious and have mastered Three Little Birds, try "Happy Together" by the Turtles.  It takes more skill, but Marino, who plays the guitar and picked up a Ukulele for the first time on Saturday, learned it during the tutorial video.  Happy Together is not required for meeting 1.

We'll assign a new song for each meeting.  Don't worry, video tutorials and music will be provided..

The Austin Ukulele Society in Austin Texas is our model.  Check out their web page including the Music Library and recorded Monthly meetings.  Look at their YouTube Channel . The Austin Ukulele Society started meeting 12 years ago, has been online for 2 years with an international following thanks to the internet.  Their in person monthly meetings in Austin had at least 140 participants of all ages.

Don't have a Ukulele yet?  You can purchase them in order of price at: Tiger, Amazon.it, StrumentiMusicali net, Techno Music and Musicali Rossoni in Trieste.  If you know of more local vendors, let us know.  If you buy local, tell them that we sent you!
