Baseball, country music, dancing, American culture, and classic USA flavors – an outdoor celebration with free entry at the Prosecco Baseball Stadium!
The Associazione Italo Americana FVG / American Corner Trieste, in collaboration with Junior Alpina Baseball & Softball and the Wild Angels Country Western Dance group, invites the public to celebrate Independence Day – Friday, July 4, 2025, from 6:00 PM at the beautiful Prosecco Baseball Stadium (Strada Provinciale del Carso, 26 – 34010 Sgonico, TS).
A real American-style party under the stars, on a huge lit-up field in the cool of Prosecco, with baseball, country line dancing, music, and American food for all ages.

From 8:00 PM – Country Western Dance for everyone with Wild Angels and DJ Wolf: free dance lesson, music, and line dancing for all ages!

🔵 Wild Angels Country Western Dance Trieste is the ambassador of country dance in Friuli Venezia Giulia, known for its energy, authentic style, and crowd engagement. It hosts performances, workshops, and classes across the region.
Country Western Dance – also known as line dance – is now a global phenomenon. In Italy alone, it boasts over 20,000 active dancers, dozens of schools, and numerous festivals and events each year. It’s a fun, community-centered style where the outfit (boots, cowboy hat, plaid shirt, jeans) adds to the excitement!
At the event, you can join in and try a free beginner workshop to experience this lively and accessible dance.

🇺🇸 Looking Ahead to the 250th Anniversary of the United States (1776–2026)
On July 4, 1776, the thirteen American colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, breaking ties with Great Britain and founding the United States of America. Written largely by Thomas Jefferson, the document proclaims core principles like liberty, equality, and the pursuit of happiness.
In 2026, the United States will celebrate its 250th anniversary with events around the world.
American Corner Trieste, as part of the American Spaces network, will join in the global commemorations with educational and cultural initiatives.
The July 4 celebration in Trieste is part of this journey — a time to share universal values and celebrate the friendship between cultures.

Venezia Giulia, noto per l'energia, lo stile autentico e la capacità di
coinvolgere il pubblico. Propone esibizioni, stage e corsi in tutta la
regione.
Il Country Western Dance – noto anche come line
dance – è diventato un fenomeno globale. In Italia conta oltre 20.000
ballerini attivi, decine di scuole e numerosi festival e raduni ogni anno.
È uno stile che unisce movimento, musica e spirito di comunità, dove l’abbigliamento
tipico (stivali, cappello da cowboy, camicia a quadri e jeans) fa parte del
divertimento.
Durante l’evento, sarà possibile ballare e partecipare gratuitamente a uno stage
per principianti, per scoprire questo ballo coinvolgente e accessibile a
tutti.

🇺🇸 Verso i 250 anni degli Stati Uniti (1776–2026)
Nel 1776, il 4 luglio, le tredici
colonie americane adottarono la Dichiarazione d’Indipendenza, rompendo i
legami con la Gran Bretagna e dando vita agli Stati Uniti d’America. Il
documento, redatto in gran parte da Thomas Jefferson, proclama principi
fondamentali come la libertà, l’uguaglianza e il diritto alla ricerca della
felicità.
Nel 2026, gli Stati Uniti celebreranno il 250°
anniversario della loro indipendenza, con eventi in tutto il mondo. Anche
l’American Corner Trieste, parte degli American Spaces,
parteciperà alle commemorazioni con iniziative culturali e didattiche.
La festa del 4 luglio a Trieste è parte di
questo percorso, un momento per condividere valori universali e celebrare
l’amicizia tra culture.
