Nov. 17th, 5-6 pm  - STORYTIME BORN to READ - GUEST READER – BETH HOLLAND @ American Corner Trieste – Open to the Public
The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt and illustrations by Oliver Jeffers.
Beth Holland, expert in mobile learning, K-8 education, and differentiated instruction will be reading in English.  Nati per Leggere / Born to Read is an international non-profit program to encourage children to read from a very early age.

Nov. 18th,  5- 6 pm – CONFERENCE:  FROM LIBRARY to LEARNING COMMONS (full-service learning, research, and project space) – Open to the Public at American Corner Trieste.  With the endorsement of Associazione Italiana Biblioteche.
Speaker – BETH HOLLAND – educator, technology innovation education specialist.
The role of physical libraries when every student potentially has a global, virtual library in their pocket. How access impacts reading, writing, and research. The impact of technology and the transformation of libraries from physical repositories to global learning.
