September 2024 NEWSLETTER  Associazione Italo Americana FVG / American Corner Trieste ASSOCIAZIONE ITALO AMERICANA FVG NEWS Welcome back after a long hot summer.  Summer brought us Summer English Academy, Summer Nights Films and the US Navy Brass Band!  September brings 2024/25 English Classes, Social Security and a US Absentee Voter Registration Campaign.  Regular activities start in October: American Film Series, Trieste Ukulele Club, Women's Book Club, Teen Maker Space, Thematic Film Series "Oval Office", Digital Storytelling and more!   Visit our Stand at the University of Trieste Welcome Day for Erasmus Students - September 20th. SEPTEMBER Office Hours:   Mornings:  Monday to Saturday 9-13 and  Afternoons: Monday and Thursday 17-19 FALL ENGLISH CLASSES BEGIN the week of September 30th. Did you register your son/daughter over age 16 for an English course for 22/23? What luck! Your child is a member and can go to the American Film Series at Cinema Super (entry is included in membership).  Children under age 16 cannot attend the movie series at the cinema.   Still need to become a 2024/25 member?  Pay ONLINE with a credit card.  Pay CASH in the Association POS payment - only in the mornings - Monday to Friday - 9-13. La documentazione verrà restituita per posta regolare. Qualora si voglia utilizzare un servizio postale alternativo, sarà necessario inviare l'etichetta di spedizione pregagata del corriere.

*Qualora non si disponga della copia originale del proprio certificato di nascita USA, sarà necessario richiederne una copia on-line, ricercando tramite un qualsiasi motore di ricerca, l'Ufficio dello Stato Civile (Office of Vital Records) dello stato di nascita oppure collegandosi al sito https://www.vitalchek.com/.

si precisa, che per coloro nati negli USA, dal momento della presentazione della richiesta presso i nostri Uffici, possono passare fino a 6 mesi, prima che l'Ente Americano, la SSA, rilasci il numero di social security. Su richiesta, all'atto della presentazione della domanda, i nostri Uffici possono rilasciare una ricevuta attestante la presentazione della stessa e i tempi di definizione.
