INTENSIVE ENGLISH
Make a New Year’s resolution to brush up your rusty English and brighten up some dreary winter evenings. Intensive courses start in February. More details will be posted on our blog.
BAKE SALE!
January 26th for the showing of Super 8 at the Ariston, we will hold a Bake Sale to get some donations for our activities. Please help us out and bring some of your baked goods to the Ariston on film day. Contact the office to confirm.

Our favorite winter series is back! Saturday mornings through April, bring your children or grandchildren ages 0 -10 to Storytime. Jennifer and our volunteer team of mother tongue Mommies and Daddies will delight us with modern children’s classics selected for the annual White House Easter/Spring Lawn Party. Each story is followed by a related activity. Call the office and make a reservation . A great way to get your children interested in English – no stress, just fun. We ask that one family member be a member. Not a member yet? Try it out once and see if you like it. Would you like to read aloud? Give us a call and we’ll get you on the list! The

AMERICAN COOKING SCHOOL
Take a foodie tour of the US without leaving Trieste. Andrea, our very own Renaissance man: ESL teacher and professional chef will teach a hands on cooking course for the preparation of the regional specialties of: El Paso, New Orleans, and New York. For Members Only. The cost is: €30 per lesson (including an apron). Dinner (prepared by you on-site plus an AIA – FVG apron) and recipes included! Come by the office to book and pay. LIBRARY NEWS
Santa brought us a new automated Library Check-Out System. Be patient with us during our learning period. Look for lots of new books and DVD’s. On Saturday Storytimes the library will be open from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
