Exploring the personal and heartfelt story of the Navajo Code Talkers, this program tells the stories of the young Navajo men recruited from harsh government boarding schools into the Marines during World War II. From 1942-1945, the Code Talkers devised an unbreakable code in their native language and transmitted vital messages in the midst of combat against the Japanese.

We have just received our new books and DVD’s for the year. There is something for everyone: The Help, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, Freedom and lots of children’s books. As we get things catalogued, they go on the shelves! DVD’s include Herbie the Love Bug, all of the movies from last year’s film series and much much more!

50th Anniversary News
We are proud to announce that the Association has received a generous grant from the US Government to support 50th anniversary associations including cooking classes and the America in Trieste walking tour, which will debut this month for Association volunteers and Robert Palladino, the US Consulate’s new Public Affairs Officer.
