May Theme: World Press Freedom Recognize the integral role a free press plays in building prosperous, resilient and free societies. Visit the World Press Freedom Exhibit at the American Corner and learn how to recognize Fake News. Read an investigative article or watch a film about journalism.
U.S.S. Harry S. Truman was in the Gulf of Trieste in April. No public visits were organized, but we were proud and honored to represent AIAFVG and the American Corner during a special visit for the U.S. Mission to Italy and local authorities. View photos HERE.

REFUGEE RELIEF
We have been assisting displaced persons of all nationalities in the area, thanks to the support of the US Embassy to Italy.
English - some Ukrainian students are in our English classes.
Support activities - Craft workshop every Tuesday and Thursday morning and afternoon for Ukrainian women. Coming soon to Barbacan Produce.
Collection - Cell phones, laptops, tablets (used but in working order) are needed.

Teen Maker Space for Middle School and High School Students is finished for this school year. Many thanks to Joshua, our super mentor. Godspeed to him and his family. English Conversation Club will be back in the Fall. Thanks to Melissa, volunteer facilitator!
