Read an investigative article or watch a film about journalism.   U.S.S. Harry S. Truman was in the Gulf of Trieste in April. No public visits were organized, but we were proud and honored to represent AIAFVG and the American Corner during a special visit for the U.S. Mission to Italy and local authorities. English - some Ukrainian students are in our English classes.  Support activities - Craft workshop every Tuesday and Thursday morning and afternoon for Ukrainian women. Coming soon to Barbacan Produce. November 2020 Newsletter Associazione Italo Americana FVG / American Corner Trieste November for us usually means Thanksgiving and spending time with family and friends. This year is different in many ways. We send you warm heartfelt wishes. Here is an update on the situation of the Associazione Italo Americana FVG / American Corner Trieste.   40th Annual American Film Series of the Associazione Italo Americana FVG American Film Series for Members 40 years is huge!  In light of the Mandate DPCM 24/10/2020, is temporarily suspended.  We wanted to spend this anniversary with you, our members.  We are still evaluating our options.    English Classes for Members Italian government institutions have confirmed that we can continue with our English Classes IN PERSON.  We had already implemented all the required Covid-19 rules and procedures.  If necessary, we are ready to go LIVE ONLINE with all of our classes at ALL LEVELS.     Check the Blog, Facebook AIAFVG, Facebook AmCorner and Instagram for updates.   Fall Break We are CLOSED for FALL BREAK from 31/10 until 6/11.   Back Open on Saturday, November 7th.    If you would like to support the Associazione Italo Americana FVG, become a Member! Thanksgiving – Thursday, November 26th We can’t be together this year, but you can still celebrate at home.  Look at these Menu ideas for Thanksgiving for 1, 2, 4, or 6 people.  This year you have to wash your own dishes, but it won’t compare to cooking for 100 like we have done at AIAFVG since 2014!  Not a fan of turkey? Make a pumpkin pie or an apple pie and remember the good times that we had together.  Put on an Americana Playlist.    We’ll miss Erynn’s gravy, Leo’s pumpkin pie and the 5+1 Music.   Too busy on Thursday?
