A weekend of confidence building, empowerment and fun for Middle School and High School Girls.  Reservation Required.

Do you have big plans for the future?
Sharpen your communication and leadership skills and build your confidence in the GROW Weekend where you can learn from young professional women.

The Weekend will take place February 13-14 at the American Corner Trieste.
15  girls will have the opportunity to participate.  The weekend will be entirely run in English.

Nati per Leggere (NpL) is a nationwide program which aims at promoting shared reading at home through the active involvement of the whole community in order to give to all children a better chance to develop and to parents opportunities of quality relationships with their children.  Shared reading at home starting from the first months of life has been defined as the single most effective activity to support the development of young children, with benefits that include cognitive, language, emotional and socio-relational development and span over the entire life. Children start to love reading and books because they associate reading with a pleasant time spent with their parents. Neuroscience has recently confirmed that an active home reading environment stimulates brain growth and activation with long lasting beneficial effects.

Third Thursday each month, 10:30-11:30 am (dates may vary according to the holiday calendar)
