We are an associazione culturale.  Italian legislation mandates the Green Pass "Rafforzato" and Face Mask to enter the premises and to go to the theater.
Thanks to all who came to the Sala Luttazzi for our 60th Anniversary Documentary.  You can view the full documentary and all the interviews on our YouTube Channel.  
Opening remarks from the Acting US Ambassador to Italy, interviews with members from the past and present.  60 years of history in 40 minutes.  Over 3 generations of Triestini have studied English with the Association and 2 generations have enjoyed the American Film Series.

More online ties to the US.
  Emma is our Virtual Library Intern studying for a Masters Degree in Library Science at the University of Texas, Austin. Emma is available to meet online with students and librarians to discuss her university and her studies.   Women's Book Club went online with the U.S. author Andrea Lee to discuss her novel Red Island House.

February Theme: Black History Month Each February, the United States celebrates Black History Month. This annual observance recognizes the important achievements by African Americans in U.S. history.  In1976 President Gerald Ford officially recognized Black History Month calling upon the public to “seize the opportunity to honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout our history.” 

01/02, 15/02 , 3 pm - Meet the Professor - Visiting Professor Eric Russell from UC Davis will meet University students for an informal chat about studying in the US and discuss his research. 

11/02 & 25/02, 10 am -   English Conversation Club - Do you want to speak more and Improve your English?  Have a  Free 1 hour conversation with our American Facilitator. This is not a class.  Various topics.  Limited to 8 participants. Registration Requested on this LINK.

Fridays from 4-6 pm - Teen Maker Space for Middle School and High School Students. 3D Printing, Electronics, Technology. with Adult Mentors.  Free. Registration is closed.

Take a FREE Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) that will enhance your English language skills and specialized content knowledge!  English for Business and Entrepreneurship, English for Science, Technology, and Mathematics (STEM), English for Journalism,  English for Career Development, English for Media Literacy. The courses can be completed at your own pace and preferred time of day. Each course takes 10-15 hours to complete.

 Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service provided by the U.S. Government to U.S. citizens who are traveling to, or living in, a foreign country.  STEP allows you to enter information about your upcoming trip abroad so that the Department of State can better assist you in an emergency. STEP also allows Americans residing abroad to get routine information from the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
 
Vote from Abroad. Americans can vote. Wherever they are.  Now is the time to submit your 2022 Federal Post Card Application so you will receive absentee ballots for the entire year.  
 
US Passport Renewal.  Check your expiration date to avoid surprises.  Adult passports can be renewed by mail. 
 
Federal Benefits Unit. Contact the office in Rome via email for assistance related to Social Security, Benefits, Medicare.
