Sept 26 - 30 at AIA FVG / American Corner Trieste

Guest Speaker and Events this week. 

Our Free Activities Open to the Public, this week include:  Mom & Baby Groups, Coffee Break, Maker Space, Survival Italian, Teen Club.

Tues. Sept. 27th 
10 am - Short Story Club - Read the story "I'm the Greatest" by Red Smith, 1964 on the link and come in ready to discuss. http://storyoftheweek.loa.org/2016/06/im-greatest.html  .  An article about Mohammad Ali, 1964. 

10 am - Mom & Baby Survival Italian - Just arrived in Trieste, don't speak much Italian, You are Italian, are home with your baby and want to meet other Moms?  Come on down and bring the baby.  Informal Italian conversation in a laid back setting.

Thurs. Sept. 29th
10 am - Maker Space and Survival Italian for Adults - No 3D printers, but 3 Singer Sewing Machines and a lot of creativity.  We'll be doing some simple informal Italian conversation while we're making things.  Bring in those new jeans that need to be hemmed.  
10 am - Mom & Baby Play Date in English - Come on down.  we'll be together in the Children's Corner.  English is the language of the day.  Meet some Moms, your babies can play or enjoy a nap.  Family Friendly - Changing table, quiet zone.

Friday. Sept. 30th
5 pm - AC TC - American Corner Teen Club 
Making, Creating, Hanging Out in English.  Every Friday afternoon.  Middle School and High School students.  Activities overseen and mentored by cool English speaking University Students.  (Not your Mom's Teen Club).





Looking ahead at Special events:
Oct 3rd - US Citizen Services - by appointment in the morning.  Absentee Ballot Turn-in.
Oct. 3rd, 3 pm, US Student and Newcomer Safety Abroad Presentation 
Oct. 20th - Social Security - Appointments and Presentation
