This Week - April 15th - 19th

What is going on this week?  A WHOLE LOT!  In addition to getting settled in our new location (Piazza S. Antonio Nuovo, 6 - 2nd Floor), we've got:

Regular Spring Semester Courses starting this week.  By the way, you can still sign up.  Call 349 8 66666 7 and Karoline can give you some info, or you can look at our blog and find course info.

Made for Each Other:  Tin Man (TV Series 2007) - Monday April 15th at 8 p.m. at Cappella Underground piazza Duca degli Abruzzi.  The theme for this couple is The Wizard of Oz. 
In Tin Man, DG, a waitress from Kansas, finds herself in a the Science Fiction / Fantasy world of OZ.  She's got lots of issues to resolve: find her memory, locate her parents, defeat the evil witch who wants to create eternal darkness.
 
 Next Monday, April 22nd, The Wizard of Oz, the original 1939 classic starring Judy Garland.

Thursday Coffee Break - Thursday, April 18, 2013 10-12 in The American Corner.  Bring a friend, have a cup of coffee, enjoy some great conversation, in English naturally. See our new place, shelve some books.  Open to the Public.








Hyde Park on Hudson, American Film Series at the Ariston.  Thursday, April 18th.
Showtimes:  2,4,6:30, 9 p.m.  The film lasts 94 minutes and stars Bill Murray, Laura Linney.
A 1939 weekend in upstate NY with FDR, his cousin and the Queen of England.

T.G.I.F.  in the AC.  Friday, April 19th from 7 - 9 p.m.   A Thank God It's Friday Happy Hour in with drinks and snacks in our new location .  This week our ethnic pick, is everybody's favorite:  Takeout Pizza from Barattolo, our neighbor in Piazza S. Antonio.  A €5 contribution per person to cover costs.  BYOB - (Bring your own drinks).  Call 040 63 03 01, or e-mail aia.fvg@gmail.com to reserve so we know how much food to order.  Open to the Public.  Bring a friend!
